Their programming halted by the 2020 pandemic, community nonprofit The CLTV was eager to reemerge with a new vision, strategy, and brand. We worked with the organization’s leadership to craft an identity to serve as the new foundation for their work furthering Black art and culture in Memphis.

Naming & Branding

We worked to build a new brand for the organization that would amplify their approach of elevating Black artists and storytellers in Memphis. The name Tone represents the music, art, color, voice, and culture that this community creates. The logo and color palette are bold and bright, making for a flexible brand that’s ready to showcase the highly visual work of the organization.
